The magazine's popularity increased during the Depression of the 1930's and World War II.In the 1960's former editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland began to reach a younger audience through focusing on contemporary fashion and issues.In 1973,Vogue became a monthly publication.Anna Wintour is the current editor-in-chief of Vogue.
