I pretty much only used Essence nail polish. It’s good and cheap so I didn't see the need to try other brands but I’ve finally branched out and got New York Colour’s ‘Expert Last Nail Polish’ in ‘115 ink stain’ which is a navy blue . At only €1.29 I didn't expect a whole lot but hoped I’d be pleasantly surprised.
The good things about this nail polish are how fast it dries, the pigment and the price. The polish dries within seconds which definitely encourages me to paint my nails more often as they don’t take forever to dry. The pigment is also really good; the colour is vivid with only one coat.
The real downside is how quickly the polish chips, although NYC boast ‘Up to 7 day wear’ on the bottle I found my nails beginning to chip after just 2 days! Although I was disappointed with how quickly my nails chipped for only €1.29 this nail polish is good. I’m not certain I’ll repurchase NYC nail polish again!
