Review : Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies'

Since its release, I've read countless reviews of Maybelline's 'Volum' Express The Falsies' mascara. By and large the majority loved this mascara , with some going as far to call this their favourite mascara. Here's what I thought :

Maybelline's Claims :

The Truth: 

PROS:

• Good for separating lashes

• Makes my lashes alot more noticeable

• Amazing when teamed with Rimmel Scandal'Eye's Mascara 

CONS:

• Hard to work with 

• Too much product on the brush 

• Sometimes clumps 

• Waterproof version is difficult to remove

 This can be a good mascara, especially when i curl my lashes and apply it with Rimmel's Scandal'Eyes Mascara , but unfortunately the downsides to this mascara are far more evident then the upsides. For the first month of using this mascara , it was far too wet and  messy to apply, it has since dried a little and it now easier to work with . Although my lashes are noticeable, this mascara doesn't give a false lash affect which is Maybelline's biggest claim . I accidentally bought the waterproof version which was a huge mistake , to take this mascara off I end up tugging at my eye which is a hassle. Maybelline 'Volum' Express The Falsies' Mascara definitely hasn't managed to become my 'go-to' mascara!
