Kate Moss was born on 16th January 1974 in London. In 1988,14-year-old Kate was spotted at JFK airport by Sarah Doukas founder of 'Storm Model Management'. When Kate was 16,British fashion photographer Corrine Day used Kate as a model for magazine 'The Face'. Kate would go on to become the 'anti-supermodel' of the 90's,as compared to other supermodels of that time Kate had a different look. Kate appeared in campaigns for Gucci,Dolce&Gabbana,Calvin Klein,Chanel,Rimmel and Bulgari,Burberry. Kate has appeared on the cover of British Vogue 30 times as well as appearing on other international Vogue covers. Kate also designed a collection for Topshop, lauched 4 fragrances with Coty. Kate appeared in many music videos including 'Something about the way you look tonight' by Elton John. Kate supports charities such as 'Breakthrough Breast Cancer','War Child','Cancer Research UK' and many more.
Kate has become a fashion icon known for her boho-chic style. She is often criticised for wearing fur and in 2008 she was added to PETA's 'Worst-Dressed-Celebrity' list. In 2005,Kate made headlines after she was photographed using cocaine, Kate was dropped by many companies that she had contracts with. However, Kate continued to appear in campaigns for Dior and in magazine W. Kate has one daughter Lila Grace Moss. Kate is married to guitarist Jamie Hince.
